Productive Sundays

Sundays are always my "get stuff done" "be productive" days. It usually consists of a nice workout, laundry, shopping, catching up on homework and a little unwinding time towards the end of the day..ulitmatly reading in bed by 830 (I am a grandma..I know).Today was no different! I spent the night out with some friends downtown and we had some great laughs riding around in the back of pickup trucks through the Clifton streets at night (safe..)
Day times saving will be the death of me this week. I swear.
So I woke up Sunday-groggy and still dreamy but grabbed some breakfast and went to take a STRIKE class at Lifetime! I ran on the treadmill for a 2 mile warmup to get my body moving (I always need to do a warm up mini workout to really get my heart rate up and mind into the class). That hour of Strike went by so fast and I ended in a sweaty bliss (my favorite!) Typically classes are upstairs in the Studios but today we had it in the gym. It was fun and more people could join.
After, I played mommy for the day! I went to the supermarket and picked up the essentials for the week: sweet potatos, greek yogurt, apple butter, salad, apples, bananas..etc etc.
Lunch: After the gym and store I came home and made a flatbread turkey, cabbage, mozarella shredded cheese, carrot slices & mustard wrap. On the side some raw carrots and an orange. Yummy! Excuse the big bite and ugly presentation..I was hungry.
After lunch I worked on some essays and caught up on some homework on the front porch while I basked in the sun & listened to my iPod. The weather is beautiful for March in the Midwest. Mom and I got in a good walk in before dinner.
I made Sunday night dinner but I will post recipe later!
